This dog has a stocky body, long egg-shaped head; erect ears and dark almond-shaped eyes, which are positioned close to each other. The elongated muzzle is a Dalmatian heritage. This breed has sprung from old Bulldogs, which were presented in bull baiting and dog fighting competitions.
