Bull Terriers
Bull terriers are carried by a fair number of breeders; some people may make rescues while others may prefer getting some background knowledge on the animal.
This breed was created in the 19th century. The gene pool contains the genes of the Bulldog, now extinct Old English species, the Dalmatian, the Spanish Pointer, the Greyhound and the Foxhound. Breeders have been working for 2 centuries to make a ferocious butcher dog into a sweet home pet.

Originally, these dogs were supposed to be white in color, but Ted Lyon worked toward the acceptance of the brindle color. Nowadays, colored species are acceptable for shows in the same way as are white dogs, although whites are still more preferable.
